With a heavy heart, I bear the sombre news of Eva Grant’s passing on Monday, 22 January 2024. She was a pioneering figure in the British glamour photography scene of the 1950s and ’60s. A luminary whose lens challenged the norms of such a male-commanded industry.
As avid readers of this blog may know, I recently had the pleasure of publishing three books on Eva’s life and work. And as such I feel privileged and lucky to have played a small part in preserving her legacy.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Eva’s friends, family, and all those who were touched by her remarkable life.
