Pamela Green was born in 1929. Today she would have been 90 years old. Hard to imagine. To mark to the occasion I’ll like to share with you this wonderful early picture of Pamela taken in 1954 at Tunbridge Studios at Axtel House in London. It’s part of a set of photos taken for their in-house calendar. She posed for them in their 1953 calendar as well. That was the year of the Coronation and you can see that picture here. I’m afraid I don’t know who the photographer was. On the reverse of the photos it has written: Bust 35″; Waist 23″; Hips 35″; Height 5’4.5″.

She certainly is up there with the best! Although I can’t remember her by name at the time I’m sure I would have seen her in the mags my older brother used to hide under his mattress. 1950’s, I was unable to make full use of seeing all these gorgeous women due to my age but I made up for it later and have done ever since. We are so lucky to have easy access to so much online now and I make full use of all that’s on offer.
