The picture of the aforementioned which has the caption saying you only recognised Norman Wisdom features Max Miller (left) (huge British musical hall star of his day) and Jimmy (Schnozzle) Durante (US entertainer) sort of centre.
PS: Max Miller had what he called his Blue Book which contained his off-colour jokes. Hence the expression blue jokes
