In the 1950s few magazines would publish nude photos. The exception was those that focussed on the naturist and nudist lifestyle. It’s no surprise then to learn that Pamela Green regularly appeared in such magazines as Health and Efficiency and the Sun Bathing Review. She appeared on the cover of Health & Efficiency at least five times, the earliest I know being in June 1952. The early photos were mostly taken by Stephen Glass and someone called Jenard. By 1955 she seems to have been working exclusively for Harrison Marks. Health & Efficiency was first published in 1900 and is still going today. If you know any details about Jenard, please get in touch. Would love to hear from you.

We loved these early nudist magazines.
They provided both of our early interests into
nudism.
